some birthday celebrations

there just happened to be some birthday celebratory activities these last few days which made for lovely times!

On Friday I was greeted with some morning birthday phone calls as well as a delicious birthday breakfast and gifts! Throughout the day I was blessed with fun celebrations and was able to spend some time with my mom that night.

Here is a gift from the Ouimettes... what a great card.. I'm ready for some hardcore night hiking adventures now.
And Saturday we had a party in the park. I totally forgot to take pictures, which was especially sad because it was decorated so cute.. but here is one picture from it.. We played frisbee (the guys more so), a close, close game of bocce ball, such cute cupcakes, and beautiful flowers.

I had a wonderful couple days here of celebrating... so thanks all you friends out there -how blessed I am by you :)
