Sadness is coming as Mandy gets ready to move to Arizona. Well- I really am happy for her BUT because she is leaving, we are catching up on doing all the things that we said we would do sometime but haven't done yet. Thus eating at The Counter- a hamburger restaurant where you check off the toppings you want and have a delicious custom burger, and going to Universal Studios. Universal Studios was neat. Partly because neither of us knew very much about it so when we got in lines for rides, all was a mystery.. we didn't know what to expect. Goodness. That made it funny. The Simpson ride was SO shaky and noisy as we stood outside waiting..what is in there we wondered? The water ride targeted us, the haunted house was strange. It was a fun day though. Next up- Catalina Island!

SO fun! I watched the slideshow on Mandy's blog. Great photos and made me want to go too. Glad you guys are enjoying some good roomate time!!
