Midnight Lake.. not at midnight

I wend backpacking with friends in the Eastern Sierras above Bishop, out of Sabrina Lake to Midnight Lake. I talked it UP regarding looking at Midnight Lake at midnight...but I never pulled that off. I got too cold and wanted to sleep. We passed a couple lakes on our way up there and that was a new, awesome experience. I've wanted to backpack the lakes in Yosemite above Vernal Falls, but I feel like I fulfilled that now. I still have a love/hate relationship with backpacking -hate the hiking up hill with a backpack on; love the result of hiking up hill with a backpack on. So glad we went!
