Mandy, Rachel, Alan, Alan's mom, and I partook in curing cancer this past Sunday. The race was held in Newport by Fashion Island and we, along with thousand others, spent the morning milling around the free expo, listening to survivor's stories, stretching, and running/jogging/walking a 5k all for... THE CURE! The atmosphere was SO FUN! ..lots of energetic music and people everywhere. Such hope! Rachel works for Susan G. Komen and she was amazing as she carried her megaphone and wore a head-set. A great day!
