This weekend some friends and I decided to go to one of only 12 _________. Any guesses of what it was? A Presidential Library of course! We went to Nixon's and here's a run down of the fun facts we learned: he grew up Quaker, the first man to walk on the moon occurred during his term, the beginning of going 'green' emerged, and this scandal went down (look at pic -get it? ha ha: watergate).
What impressed me though was that Nixon took risks and was persistent. He was VP from 1953-1961 ...and then ran for Prez in 1960 and lost, ran for CA governor in 1962 and lost, and actually tried again for Prez in 1968 and won.
