A new hobby in the making

While flying Friday and Monday, I began a new fascination. Meteorology and geology. Sounds boring, but I want to learn! We were flying and the clouds were extravagant... and I decided I wanted to learn about weather and how/why/where/when etc. of that sort of stuff. I'm curious. Also, I want to learn more about geology... I took a class last summer, but I want to learn more. On the flight yesterday I just kept starring out the window because it was incredible to see the Rocky Mountains turn into dry, arid land, then see the Grand Canyon (I think), and see flat plains.... just really neat. Hopefully my passion won't die before I explore it....
